Quit Smoking Without Gaining Unwanted Weight

June 28, 2019 AURELIS, Quit Smoking No Comments

AURELIS promise: this is possible for everyone.

‘Unwanted’ = you don’t want it.

This is not about what someone else would want – including me – nor ‘what society wants.’ Unless then again this is what YOU want.

I have seen things

that I would rather have not. Like: people (including some of my patients in pre-AURELIS era) being very unhappy because of their gaining 13 kg (26 pounds) in just a few years after putting down their last cigarette.

Very, very unhappy.

Sometimes they came with the story that “you see, this is inevitable because (I’ve read that) cigarettes have this effect on the body and thus quitting smoking has this…”

blah, blah, blah.

Body and mind are the same thing.

You can look at body. You can look at mind.

It’s the same thing.

More precisely, it is one thing. Not a summation.

Sometimes it’s better to look at this thing with body-glasses and sometimes it’s better to look at it with mind-glasses.

AURELIS =

giving you every possible support to look at it with deeper-mind-glasses

in order for you to have your own choice. Not even my choice. YOUR choice. I agree: people are generally not used to having this choice. Thus it may appear somewhat uncanny. Forced even.

It is the opposite.

To quit smoking is a body or mind thing, depending on your view.

And gaining unwanted weight?

The same.

Now letting aside all ideas of guilt [see: “Always Responsible, Never Guilty”] or anything else that may hold you down…

The deep-mind-view is a view of choice

while the body-view lends one to “It’s my body, thus not really me.”

The latter may be a relief in some way but it is not helpful. On the contrary, it makes you an ‘easy target’ for instance: for advertising, or for simplistically untruthful messages. It prevents you from finding (even more) strength within yourself

for being you and only you

in a very broad sense: ‘you’ being inclusive of other people and much more.

A body-view separates us.

A body + mind view (separated and summated) separates us.

A deeper-mind view unites us. There is a lot to gain in this

including to quit smoking without gaining unwanted weight

because you do that from who you really are: the un-divided one (in-dividual), the whole, un-divided from yourself as well as – in a deeper sense – from your environment, from the world, from anything, including your own unwanted craving for ‘something to eat.’

Divided from it, it may come to take hold on you. United with it, you are it: if you change, it changes.

Now, another plain truth:

What you eat, comes inside you. What you don’t eat, doesn’t.

The difference stems mainly from wanting

and ‘wanting’ is almost always best viewed from a deep-mind perspective,

which is the AURELIS-perspective.

So, this is not a blog that tells you how, but why: because smoking and eating and many other things lie much closer to YOU than a single body-view (with or without mind in a simple summation) keeps telling you.

Because YOU are worth to be and to always again become your finest self, your true self,

your most beautiful self.

That is what I wish for all people.

Please, don’t let anyone or anything put you down.

Rise and be yourself.
