AURELIS, Spoon-Fed?

July 3, 2018 AURELIS No Comments

No, this is not about AURELIS for babies. The question is: would it be interesting to bring AURELIS in the most palatable way?

I’m thinking of something like a “now do this, then that and then again do that and hooray!” – way:

  • No more headaches thanks to this step-by-step plan.
  • Easily lose 8 kilograms in 5 weeks while eating what you like.
  • Save yourself from depression in 9 half days.

I have to ask, however, regarding to this: “If it’s so easy to swallow, how to explain that not everyone is already perfect?”

Well, in the advertising world it is probably used as axiom: “Make things manageable and people will take the bait.” And vice versa: “Make things unmanageable and people will walk away…”

It’s not that we don’t t know it, but is this a reason to pick up the spoon?

Apart from the fact that the expression is rather (a little) denigrating, I don’t believe that AURELIS fits well in the metaphor of the spoon. Although the deeper self can be approached quite fancifully, at the same time it must be taken ‘seriously’… and not like it would all be about some kind of porridge.

All kinds of techniques can be spoon-fed.

All kinds of products can be spoon-fed.

But what about the deeper self? Can the ‘Soul of Man’ be spoon-fed?

This would be wrong and disrespectful. Therefore this idea does not fit into the AURELIS philosophy.

At the same time, it’s of course not a black-and-white issue. It is a constant search for what, who and where and in particular: to what extent.

This is certain: AURELIS is not based on a philosophy of attack. There is no ‘disease’ that should be attacked as an enemy. There are portals (‘indications’) and there is a way (the way of the individual user, always unique, always himself) and there is a way to communicate-with-the-deeper-self (to which the concrete symptom belongs). Well, a ‘strategy’ fits within a philosophy of attack. Outside of the latter it’s much more difficult.

The alternative is: every user has to take responsibility,

This also includes, if necessary, that one allows to be supported. No problem with the latter, on the contrary. But it may not become an attitude of ‘I do it for you’, or ‘you do it for me’.

An AURELIS user shouldn’t be seen, nor in any way be treated like a baby.

A point of departure is a safeguard but should not be something to keep holding on to.

AurelisOnLine offers a sea of possibilities. Hence the option ‘domains recommended to start with’. For further assistance, a well versed coach is recommended. It’s the intention that this coach stimulates the coachee to self-improvement

No spoon. No porridge.

Why Humanism Needs AURELIS

I admit: this title is quite highbrow. I need to do some explaining. [see also: “Humanism with a Vengeance”] Humanism = taking human being into account as-is. Not as some organization portrays it if this runs counter to obvious reality, of which science and rationality are pretty good critics, even if not necessarily the only Read the full article…
