The \u2018place we humans live in\u2019 seems to grow bigger and bigger at an enormous pace. It used to be only a tiny flat part of this globe called \u2018earth\u2019. Then it became bigger and bigger and rounder too. Then we soon found out we are living on a ball among many other balls. The nearby candle lights in the sky at night became huge solar systems, even entire milky ways. The \u2018universe\u2019 became unimaginably big. Now it seems there are billions of \u2018universes\u2019 in an endless progression. It seems there is much more \u2018reality\u2019 than we could think of not so long ago.<\/p>\n

But at the same time, a \u2018thing without boundaries\u2019 cannot exist. In what would it exist, since this \u2018in what\u2019 cannot exist and contain something that is itself without boundaries?<\/p>\n

Therefore, the universe we live in doesn\u2019t exist.<\/p>\n

So much about space. With time, we run into the same kind of problems. When did the start-less universe start? How many big-bangs ago? When will the end-less universe end? Where did it come from and where does it lead to?<\/p>\n

Each living creature lives in its own environment, broad or small, and doesn\u2019t need the rest. Things become more relevant if we go to ontological questions. Like: where do we go to in the afterlife if even the \u2018here and now\u2019 doesn\u2019t exist? What also about morality in anything but its most practical issues? What are we really doing here after all?<\/p>\n \u25ca\u25ca\u25ca<\/p>\n Another intriguing question: in all this infinity, it\u2019s statistically im-possible that only<\/em> this earth has generated intelligent life. The \u2018all\u2019 must<\/em> be full of it. But then where is it and why is there no communication?<\/p>\n \u25ca\u25ca\u25ca<\/p>\n Or is there?<\/p>\n \u25ca\u25ca\u25ca<\/p>\n Things can be so \u2018normal\u2019 that we don\u2019t see anything because we continuously see everything. The \u2018all\u2019 may be present in everything we do, feel, think, in one all-encompassing non-dualistic being-there.<\/p>\n \u25ca\u25ca\u25ca<\/p>\n This sounds a bit like what mystics from everywhere are trying to tell us.<\/p>\n \u25ca\u25ca\u25ca<\/p>\n Anyway, since this can\u2019t be real, anything is possible. The argument that \u2018this is obviously im-possible\u2019 doesn\u2019t count. Day-in-day-out thinking has no substantial basis outside itself. This has incredible consequences and at the same time, no consequence at all. At least, we have the reality we imagine.<\/p>\n \u25ca\u25ca\u25ca<\/p>\n So\u2026 we just go on.<\/p>\n \u25ca\u25ca\u25ca<\/p>\n
