Address total self, and you\u2019ll form total self.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n It can be very annoying if you want to speak\/act\/be from your total self and people talk to you repeatedly as if you speak\/act from your ego. Even if you address others in the first sense and people interpret this in the other sense, a very unpleasant situation can arise. That all leads to confusion of tongues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Like the Tower of Babel<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n This tower was built in an attempt to \u2018reach the sky (heaven).\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n I believe it started for the better: the first layers were of an original, ‘total self’ purpose. But as they say, power corrupts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As heaven actually came into view (albeit from quite a distance), the builders’ motivation began to come under more and more pressure from their egos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In other words, people started to grab<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n As a result, the builders no longer understood each other on the level of total self. What used to be a perfect collaboration became more and more \u2018everyone for himself.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n Result: the tower collapsed \u201cand the nations scattered and each spoke his own language so that they no longer understood each other.\u201d You see: not understanding each other came before the fall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The few who kept their original motivation saw it all coming in advance and were unable to prevent it. They must have spoken, but no one understood them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Worse, what they said could be the most misinterpreted of all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n There are a lot of possibilities contained in total self.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n They are prevented by mere ego.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Then you think: something has to be built with this\u2026 Certainly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n AURELIS stands for \u2018total self\u2019 in everything related to human creation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n But so it STANDS. Its use is preceded by a decision that also answers the question: Do you want that?<\/p>\n\n\n\n More specifically:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Do you also want that as an ego<\/em><\/strong>?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Ego has the property that it can place itself in between. It can cling to itself with tremendous force<\/em>. This is perhaps understandable in the sense that in the end, it IS also total self in its deepest being. The motivation to get beyond oneself ultimately must also, therefore, come from ego.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Only the top of the flower bud can release itself.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n If you speak to total self, you form total self. This also allows you to greatly increase the tension that emanates from resistance to this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Can you really speak of \u2018resistance\u2019?<\/p>\n\n\n\n It does indeed behave that way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n How do you get past this?<\/p>\n\n\n\n I would say: with \u2018infinite patience.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n It may seem strange, but I would also say: by \u2018going through it.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n So you don\u2019t get an unequivocal answer, but a new tension that always requires a new synthesis. They are two poles from which, when you bring them together, new possibilities arise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Very important: I indeed say \u2018synthesis\u2019 and not \u2018compromise.\u2019 So, how can you bring them together without compromising either one?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Of course, my insidious nature-with-wink immediately suggests the following question: How can one keep them apart from each other <\/em>without prejudice to either?<\/p>\n\n\n\n You invite. Someone is not ready.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Someone is a little ready. Someone is not ready again\u2026 You keep inviting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Maybe it\u2019s not you who will be putting the finishing touch. Maybe someone else will get the medal. Not you. It is, therefore, also an answer that you constantly have to give to your own question:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Do I want to get out of my \u2018prison\u2019?<\/p>\n\n\n\n This also applies in a workshop.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n In a group, egos each want their place. You give them more or less such a place. They may then feel good \u2015 as ego. They may be grateful to you \u2015 as ego.<\/p>\n\n\n\n But what\u2019s the point? What is your <\/em>intention?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Egos think they understand themselves and each other better by placing them in a certain way. That\u2019s right \u2015 as ego. But as a total self\u2026?<\/p>\n\n\n\n When one begins to grasp for the sake of grasping, the understanding ends. A new Tower of Babel is being built then. You can see this tower in the small (a group), the large (an organization), or the very large (a total culture).<\/p>\n\n\n\n All in all, it\u2019s the most fundamental question anyone can ask.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Do I want to leave the comfort of my own prison \u2015 <\/strong>or not?<\/strong><\/p>\n
