You may have recently lost someone you felt for. As I did.<\/h3>\n

Sure it hurts a lot.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

It damn well does. It’s not part of a statistic. Before you know it, it makes one angry at life. It makes one feel like<\/p>\n

in a depression.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Something happens at soul level.<\/p>\n

It’s like proceeding and something doesn’t easily follow.<\/p>\n

But I want it to follow.<\/p>\n

Something doesn’t fit in this.<\/p>\n

Tears may come. You better let them. Joy and laughter may come. You better let them.<\/p>\n

Something stays behind for a while at least. It doesn’t catch up. It’s not only the one who died who stays behind. It’s part of you.<\/p>\n

So, it hurts.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Thinking back of the good times may help, and it may not.<\/p>\n

It helps<\/p>\n

but it doesn’t diminish the hurt. It makes it different.<\/p>\n

That’s how I feel it.<\/p>\n

I guess I have to break a few times and put myself together again<\/p>\n

establishing more room inside.<\/p>\n

I guess what stays behind then finds some crack to live in.<\/p>\n

There is no mere continuation of life. It’s different.<\/p>\n

Let people around me be careful about what they say<\/p>\n

now and twenty years from now, when things will have been going on and on.<\/p>\n

Those things won’t change this hurt.<\/p>\n

I guess it never changes. It deepens. It creates that within which other things happen.<\/p>\n

The environment of life.<\/p>\n

I don’t want this hurt to hurt less. I want it to stay<\/p>\n

like a color that fades, tainting everything.<\/p>\n

It doesn’t become another color.<\/p>\n

It’s not even the color of hurt in some manner.<\/p>\n

It’s just a color. A presence.<\/p>\n

I don’t want it to go away.<\/p>\n

You stay.<\/p>\n
