There isn\u2019t even a Zen.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p>There is this moment, in whatever form it shows up \u2014 and your willingness to let it be exactly that.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Sometimes Zen is a tear.<br>Sometimes a silence so complete you forget you exist.<br>Sometimes it glows like sunlight through your chest.<br>Sometimes it feels like moonlight resting on water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>None of these are steps.<br>None are better or worse.<br>They are faces of the same openness,<br>moving through you, without demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Wet Zen<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the Zen of tears \u2014<br>Sesshin tears, Zen tears, no-cause tears.<br>Not sadness. Not emotion.<br>Something deeper \u2014 a resonance that becomes liquid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They come when the grasping self dissolves \u2014 not in despair, but in release.<br>They come like spring water, unannounced.<br>They don\u2019t ask permission.<br>They don\u2019t ask why.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You weep not because something is wrong,<br>but because something is no longer in the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThese are the tears of no separation.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dry Zen<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the Zen of nothing happening.<br>No tears, no warmth, no coolness.<br>Just presence, as dry as stone.<br>And yet\u2026 perfectly whole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No waves, no resistance,<br>but also no reward.<br>You sit, and that\u2019s it.<br>Not peaceful \u2014 real.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This Zen doesn\u2019t touch you.<br>It leaves you transparent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cNot the absence of feeling, but the absence of needing to feel.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sun Zen<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here, Zen shines.<br>Not brightly \u2014 but simply.<br>Everything is clear, open, alive.<br>You laugh. Not because it\u2019s funny \u2014 but because it is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sun Zen is effortless.<br>You don\u2019t manage your thoughts.<br>They pass through like light through leaves.<br>You don\u2019t try to love.<br>You are Compassion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cNothing forced. Everything alive.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Moon Zen<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cool. Symbolic. Soft.<br>This is Zen at night \u2014<br>subtle, indirect, poetic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You understand something\u2026 but not with the head.<br>A dream within a dream dissolves \u2014<br>and what\u2019s left is the shape of truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moon Zen doesn\u2019t teach.<br>It whispers.<br>It doesn&#8217;t shine its own light.<br>It reflects yours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cYou don\u2019t reach the moon.
