And then it\u2019s <u>also<\/u> all about caring.<\/h3>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Existential at the start: <a name=\"_Toc520018328\"><\/a>It\u2019s all about \u2018I\u2019 <\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>then expanding the \u2018I\u2019 to incorporate \u2018them\u2019. This is not abandoning \u2018I\u2019. It\u2019s a process of growing of you-as-speaker: while \u2018ego\u2019 remains humble; total \u2018you\u2019 becomes fascinating.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Find yourself fascinating: You stand as an \u2018I\u2019<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>You are who you are. It\u2019s your existence. In the brain, one can see this as the brainstem\/hypothalamus\/thalamus which keep pushing the individual to just <em>exist<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>As a speaker, you exist-as-speaker. You show <u>you<\/u>. People come to see <u>you<\/u>. It\u2019s invigorating to others to see <u>you<\/u> as being <u>you<\/u>. So it\u2019s also in their advantage. They learn from you to be-me.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Make your message individual.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This happens spontaneously if you are being <u>you<\/u>. This way, you become irreplaceable. Brand yourself as your content. People pay for your brand \u2013 also because they want to be included. You and your brand become one symbol = deep communication.<\/p>\n<p>This is not ego-istic. Your &lt;standing as an \u2018I\u2019&gt; transcends mere-ego. And that brings us \u2013 if done well \u2013 spontaneously to:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><a name=\"_Toc520018331\"><\/a><strong>It\u2019s all about caring<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\u2018Caring\u2019 has been evolutionarily invented more than once. It\u2019s apparently a scheme that nature tends to value. In the human case, blame <a name=\"_Toc520018332\"><\/a>mammalian evolution. Mother and child while breastfeeding: they look at each other. Oxytocin \u2013 hormone \u2013 flows in both, enhancing the good feeling <em>from inside<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>BUT: at the same time, this may translate into forming \u2018the enemy\u2019 as contrasting to the own kin. We humans have the flexibility to either jump into this, making it much worse (empathy to \u2018us\u2019 provokes aggression to \u2018them\u2019); or to transcend it, making \u2018them\u2019 into \u2018us\u2019.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><a name=\"_Toc520018333\"><\/a><a name=\"_Toc520018334\"><\/a><strong>Gratitude as a speaker<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>is part of your caring as a speaker. Showing your sincere gratitude to the audience \u2013 also during your talk \u2013 you and the audience are clearly caring for the same: good speech, good influence.<\/p>\n<p>Such caring together is HUGELY motivating.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Caring as a speaker is also: very well preparing your presentation<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>You owe it to \u2018your\u2019 public. The effort also makes you confident in having done \u2018the best you could\u2019. Attention to detail shows your audience that you care, also through showing yourself that you care.
